- 3. BP Rules
Map Selection: Before the start of each match, the leaders from both teams will toss a coin and choose a side, and the winner selects the map for the first round. The map in the first and second half is the same. The loser selects the order of the line-ups, and both sides will take turns with the selection order thereafter.
Number of Character Blocks: In the first round of BO3 matches characters are not blocked. Each team can block one character in the second round, and two characters in the third round. In the first round of BO5 matches characters are not blocked. Each team will block one character in the second round, two characters in the third round, and three characters in the fourth and fifth round. Characters need to be re-blocked during the first and second half of each match.
Character BP Sequence: The BP sequence of each round is fixed at 1-1-1-1 (once every round), namely:
- Survivors block the Hunter faction
- Hunter blocks the Survivor faction
- Survivors select characters
- Hunter selects character
- 4. Point Accumulation Rules
Each half round, teams will obtain the corresponding points according to the following rules:
At the end of the game, if the number of escaped Survivors is 0, then Survivors will receive 0 point and the Hunter will receive 5 points
At the end of the game, if the number of escaped Survivors is 1, then Survivors will receive 1 point and the Hunter will receive 3 points
At the end of the game, if the number of escaped Survivors is 2, then Survivors will receive 2 points and the Hunter will receive 2 points
At the end of the game, if the number of escaped Survivors is 3, then Survivors will receive 3 points and the Hunter will receive 1 point
At the end of the game, if the number of escaped Survivors is 4, then Survivors will receive 5 points and the Hunter will receive 0 point
Note: The condition for determining the outcome of each round is the sum of points from the first and second half. The team with the highest points will be the winner and vice versa. Teams will result in a tie if points are the same.
- 5. Tiebreaker Rules
the case of a tie in BO3 or BO5 (such as 1 Win, 1 Tie, 1 Loss):
① Priority will be given to teams with the highest cumulative points throughout the tournament;
② If the cumulative points turns out to be a tie again, there will be an additional round. The winner will be determined by comparing the cumulative points from both teams.
③ If both teams still have the same points in the additional match, the first deciding factor is to look at both teams' escapes during their rounds as Survivors: 1) if at least one of the Survivors escaped, the Survivor's match duration is used as the basis for deciding the winning team. The team with the fastest time wins; 2) if neither team escaped as a Survivor, the Hunter's match duration is used as the basis for deciding the winning team. The team with the fastest time wins.
Note: 3 Characters are banned in BO3 and BO5 additional rounds.
- 6. Forfeiting: In principle, teams are forbidden to forfeit. However, if the team insists on forfeiting, the organizing committee of the tournament will waive the team's rights to participate in the tournament by default. Matches involving the team will be handled on a rotation basis, and the committee reserves the rights to penalize the forfeiting team.
