[Call of the Abyss V - Ethereal Theatre Phase Begins]
- Call of the Abyss V's third phase, [Ethereal Theatre], will commence after maintenance on January 13, 2022. The top 100 clubs (top 50 for certain regions) from [Neon Corridor] will compete for points in [Ethereal Theatre]. The top 8 teams with the most points will be invited to the COA V Online Qualifier. If any clubs among the top 8 have already qualified for the COA V Qualifier/Global Finals, the next club in line will be invited.
- Players who didn't advance to [Ethereal Theatre] may still obtain individual battle quest rewards during this period and unlock Clues in "Abyssal Whisper."
[Experience Improvements]
- Improved the Blocklist's description for players who are Tier VII or above when they are unable to add teammates to this list. The previous description was "Your Blocklist is full."
- Improved the cape display of the Seer's Costume "Kaito Kid" when interacting with sofa-type furniture.
[Battle]
- Added "Nightmare" as a new Hunter bot for Nightmare difficulty in Custom Mode.
- Once the Nightmare challenge in Custom Mode has commenced, the host may switch the Hunter characters for the Nightmare bot in the preparation interface.
- Survivors will now earn 100 Persistence from decoding Mad Eyes' Console and earn up to 600 per battle.
[Bug Fixes]
- Fixed an issue where the Acrobat would not be stunned while using a Bomb if he was hit by the tram in Eversleeping Town.
- Fixed an issue where the ability icon would remain when the Novelist entered Synesthesia Mode after being eliminated.
- Fixed an issue where Hunters could hit Survivors through scene objects at certain locations in the White Sand Street Asylum.
- Fixed an issue where there's a chance that the Post Dog couldn't Pounce on a Hunter when the Postman was in close range with the Hunter.
- Fixed an issue where Hunters could hit Survivors through the walls close to the exit gate while the gate was being activated.
- Fixed an issue where Wu Chang couldn't use the emotes on the second page after he switched forms in the Room.
- Fixed an issue where the ability icon would be dimmed but the cooldown wouldn't commence when the Wildling was interrupted while commanding his partner to Howl.
- Fixed an issue where the "Little Girl" model would have graphics errors on mobile devices after the Outline inflicted by Novelist ended.
- Fixed a display error in Spectate Mode for the balloons of the Hunters.
- Fixed an issue where Mechanic's doll would be stuck in obstacles at certain locations after they failed to dismantle Hell Ember's Puppet.
- Fixed an issue in Chasing Shadows Mode where players could not cancel the use of their items.
- Fixed an issue where the Hunter "Nightmare" could spy on the Magician who was in Stealth.
- Fixed an issue on Leo's Memory map where the snowball icon would remain while an eliminated Survivor was spectating.
- Fixed an issue where the wax coating progress would be cleared when Survivors used a Catapult to launch themselves.
- Fixed an issue where the background music was played erroneously when the player returned to the Room in the Misty Villa after completing a match.
- Fixed an issue where players could not use the features related to Miss Nightingale.
Negative Play and Cheating Penalties
It has recently come to our attention that a small number of players have been found guilty of non-participation, negative play, and cheating, all of which significantly affect the experience of other players and threaten the game's fairness. In the future, we will intensify the punishments for such behaviors in order to provide a healthy gaming environment for everyone. We also encourage you to use the in-game reporting system to provide us with feedback when encountering negative behavior. Let us work together to maintain order and integrity in the Manor.

[Memory Sphere - Previous Seasons]: Players can now reset a guaranteed item for each quality grade. When they obtain an item in that quality grade, they will receive the item they previously assigned as the guarantee. Please assign your guarantee item in time as they cannot be accrued.
