Obtain S Costume "Swallow of Deception" to receive the all-new Survivor "Weeping Clown" for free. This Character can only be used in Quick Matches for now.

Identity: Weeping Clown
Background: Perhaps Joker really was a natural-born money tree, as his parents suggested. All he could do to make himself feel needed was to play dumb and put up with it.
External Traits:
- Rocket: Carries a Rocket that can propel him forward at the cost of decreased agility during the dash. If he runs into other Survivors while dashing, he can propel them forward together.
- Explosion: An unoccupied Rocket will explode upon collision, providing Survivors within range a 2-second boost and increasing their movement speed by 30%. Meanwhile, Hunter within range will be astonished for 2 seconds, during which their movement speed is decreased by 50%. If the Hunter is near the center of the explosion, they will be stunned for 2 seconds instead.
- All Thumbs: Terrible with machines. Decoding speed is decreased by 10%.

[Memory Sphere Reset]

Event 4: Praying Plaza
1. Wishing Lanterns: Players can send off Wishing Lanterns and write down their wishes to pray for the New Year.
2. Lunar New Year Blessings: Five Lunar New Year blessing events will be held in the Praying Plaza throughout the entire event, each lasting for an hour. During these mini- events, a fireworks show will be held in the Praying Plaza and Red packets will be given out. Red Packets may contain Clues, Fragments, Trial Cards, Permanent Costumes, and more!

- Hastur's (the Feaster) Character Day (January 24) is here, and the annual Character Day Event has officially begun. Come and show your support for this beloved character!

[Call of the Abyss V - Color Out of Space Begins]
- Call of the Abyss V's final phase [Color Out of Space] will commence on January 20, 2022, at 24:00. The top 8 clubs advanced from [Ethereal Theatre] in different regions will be announced in the game.
- Ethereal Theatre Club Points will be settled at 23:30 on January 20, 2022 (UTC+8). All unsettled Abyss Points will be voided.
- Call of the Abyss V Online Qualifiers will be held from February to March in 2022. The regional qualifiers will be live on all platforms. Stay tuned!
[Battle]
- Optimized the brightness of some maps under Performance and Efficiency Graphics.
- Added a "Reset Pallets" button to Custom Single Training Mode. Players can now reset all pallets to upright pallets with a single tap.
- Added a "Switch Map/Character" button to the Custom Single Training Mode. Players can now switch maps and characters during training. The battle will be reloaded after players have confirmed their new map/character choices.
[Room]
- The Room Picture function has been upgraded! After taking pictures, players can save up to 20 pictures in the Room Album and leave Likes on them. Players can only leave a limited number of Likes each day.
[Experience Improvements]
- Improved the facial shadows of some costumes.
- Optimized the screenshot function for the mobile client. Players can now hide UI while taking screenshots and share their screenshots to social media or save them locally.(Download the latest game client to use this feature)
- Changed Character Quest to Daily Quest in the Returning Player Event. Returning players can now unlock the Daily Quest and obtain rewards by completing the quests. (Players who have already triggered the Returning Player Event will not be affected.)
- Added a quick entrance for the Returning Player Event on the main interface.
- Updated the voiceover for Smiley Face. We will continue optimizing and replacing the voice audio for his actions (such as some emotes), but this process will be gradual due to scheduling issues.
[Bug Fixes]
- Fixed the issue where the actions displayed in the Personal Profile interface for Perfumer's Costume - Dahlia were incorrect.
- Fixed the issue where Photographer could sometimes locate the "Little Girl" continuously.
- Fixed an issue on Leo's Memory map where Survivors could use Catapults to launch themselves out of a locked Exit Gate.
- Fixed the issue where, when Gamekeeper set a Trap 20 meters from a Rocket Chair with a Survivor on it, the Trap would disappear immediately.
- Fixed the issue where Dream Witch might create a Follower out of the scene in the Eversleeping Town.
- Fixed the issue where decoding Mad Eyes' Fence would earn players unlimited bonus points.
- Fixed the issue where some parts of Photographer's Costume - Faust would overlap while playing certain emotes or interacting.
- Fixed the issue where Geisha would drop into a locked Basement when her Dash Hit ended at certain locations.
- Fixed the issue where Entomologist's Swarm of Insects could not pass through the north gate of the Asylum.
- Fixed an issue where "Nightmare" players could continue to spy on Survivors hidden behind obstacles and accumulate progress when they switched to a different app.
- Fixed an issue in Synesthesia Mode where there was a chance that the spectator would get stuck at a certain location in the Darkwoods.
- Fixed an issue where the item model was missing in the Toy Merchant's Standby Motion - Ready.
- Fixed an issue in Blackjack Mode where the cooldown of Gamekeeper's Chain Hook might display erroneously.
Negative Play and Cheating Penalties
It has recently come to our attention that a small number of players have been found guilty of non-participation, negative play, and cheating, all of which significantly affect the experience of other players and threaten the game's fairness. In the future, we will intensify the punishments for such behaviors in order to provide a healthy gaming environment for everyone. We also encourage you to use the in-game reporting system to provide us with feedback when encountering negative behavior. Let us work together to maintain order and integrity in the Manor.
