Maintenance Notice
Dear players:
To ensure smooth operation, Identity V will issue a hotfix on March 17, 2022, at 08:00 (UTC+8).
- This week's maintenance will be replaced by a hotfix. The hotfix will begin at 08:00 on March 17, 2022 (UTC+8), during which most of the game modes will remain available, including Quick Match, Custom Mode, Events, and Logic Path. (Note: The entrance to Ranked Match will be closed temporarily during the hotfix. However, Ranked Matches already in progress will not be affected.)
- After 10:30 (UTC+8), players will have to exit the game to receive the latest patch. All game modes will be back online once the latest patch is installed (may subject to postponement should there be any issues).
- If there are still players who haven't installed the latest patch after 11:00 (UTC+8), the server will perform a forced update. During this time, these players will be forced to log out, and they will be able to play again once the game client is restarted (may subject to postponement should there be any issues).
Maintenance content for this week:
[Character Day Event]
- Norton's (Prospector) birthday (March 19) is here and the annual birthday party has officially begun. Participate in the event and complete quests to get exclusive birthday rewards! Players who participated in Norton's birthday event last year will receive all-new birthday rewards for this year after completing the event quest. Come and show your support for this beloved character!
Event Period: March 19, 2022, 00:00 - March 19, 2022, 23:59
[Room]
- After maintenance, music that is played on specific furniture will now be available for download as a resource pack. Previously acquired music won't be affected, but newly acquired music will have to be downloaded in Settings before it can be played.
[Battle]
- Survivor Achievement Points will only be obtained by the corresponding Survivor.
- Improved the collision logic between the Weeping Clown's Rocket and scene objects to avoid situations where the Rocket becomes inactive.
- Added a height judgment for the Geisha's Swallowtail Butterfly when it attaches to a Survivor vertically.
[Optimized Cancellation Method for Charging Abilities]
- Added a new method to cancel charging abilities. The [Joystick Cancellation] function is now available. Players can activate this new method in Game -> Operation -> General. It may coexist with [Swipe to Target Area] and [Tap the Button on the Left] to cancel charging abilities.
- Once activated, the canceling area will appear on the top left corner when a charging ability is being performed while moving. Move your left hand to the canceling area and release the ability button with your right hand to cancel the ability.
- Players can adjust the size and location of the canceling area in Custom Battle Controls.
- Instructions will appear during the cancellation process. Players may disable instructions in Settings.
[Experience Improvements]
- Added a "Report" function for Club Name, Club Motto, and Club Chat under the Club interface.
- Added a display for Lucky Guy's second accessory in Spectate Mode and Recordings.
- Improved the camera logic when switching to 3D in the recordings. The 3D camera will now follow the current character by default. After switching to other characters, the camera interface will remain, and the settings will be saved.
- Improved the Hunter's ability activation indicator in the recordings. The triangular indicator has now changed to a more noticeable yellow color.
- Fixed an issue where Survivors' item ability would cause the screen to freeze.
- Earn Guild Activity Points in Chasing Shadows Mode according to your final ranking!
[Bug Fixes]
- Fixed an issue where performing Outline on Survivors would cause errors to Photographer's action when carrying the accessory "Deadly Invitation."
- Fixed an issue where certain functions in Custom Battle Controls would cause errors to the "Outline" ability.
- Fixed an issue where Smiley Face could still call up the Snowball button after it was disabled.
- Fixed an issue where the Feaster's tentacles in the costume "Grand Oracle" were missing special effects while performing the standby motion "Demonstrate."
- Fixed an issue where changing camera angles in the Room would cause graphical errors to flames in certain furniture.
- Fixed an issue where the attack recovery action would remain after a Survivor blinked upon landing after getting hit by "Nightmare's" Dive.
- Fixed an issue where "Undead" could hit Survivors through walls with Kinetic Dash Hit.
- Fixed an issue where Hunters could hit Survivors through obstacles in certain areas in Leo's Memory and Red Church.
- Fixed an issue where Ranking Points and Guild Activity Points would be awarded to idling players.
Negative Play and Cheating Penalties
It has recently come to our attention that a small number of players have been found guilty of non-participation, negative play, and cheating, all of which significantly affect the experience of other players and threaten the game's fairness. In the future, we will intensify the punishments for such behaviors in order to provide a healthy gaming environment for everyone. We also encourage you to use the in-game reporting system to provide us with feedback when encountering negative behavior. Let us work together to maintain order and integrity in the Manor.
Thank you for supporting Identity V. Please accept our gifts in the mail as compensation for the inconvenience the maintenance had caused.
