- On May 1, 1851, the first [World Expo] took place in London's [Crystal Palace], an event that propelled the building to the pinnacle of international fame. After the exposition, the Crystal Palace was torn down and relocated, and its glory faded with the passage of time. Sightings of a "phantom" have been rumored within the walls of Crystal Palace...

Returning Player System
- Total Logins: Updated the rewards for Returning Player Total Logins. Players can simply log in each day to claim the corresponding reward. The rewards include: Limited-time [Label] Returning Detective, Ranked Match Guarantee Cards, specific Character Unlock Cards, Memory Spheres - Previous Seasons, A-rarity Costume Trial Cards, General Character Trial Cards, Clues, among others.
- Deduction Quest: Deduction Quests are divided into Daily Quests and Challenge Quests. Daily Quests will be unlocked according to the number of returning player logins. Complete Deduction Quests to obtain Deduction EXP, which can be used to increase your Returning Player Deduction Level.
- Deduction Reward: Obtain Deduction EXP to increase your Returning Player Deduction Level. Each level has a corresponding Deduction Reward. Deduction Rewards are divided into Standard Rewards and Advanced Rewards. Standard Rewards are available upon reaching the corresponding levels. Advanced Rewards must first be unlocked with Echoes.
- Recommended Packages: Returning players can purchase exclusive Clues, Spyglasses, and other packages. In addition, Returning players can claim a single-use Season Essence discount. (The discount is available for a limited time. Once the event is over or the Treasure is no longer available, the discount will become invalid.)
- Recent Updates: The content of recent game updates about new characters, new game modes, Season Essence, Shop packages, etc. will be summarized in Recent Updates for returning players to view.

Battle
- When the Novelist uses Outline on other Survivors, he will now see their view and, with their consent, control their movements.
- Absent the target player's consent, the Novelist's Outline will enter a 20-second cooldown.
- There will now be a notification when the Novelist has obtained sufficient information about the Hunter.
- The Thief's high-powered flashlights can now still be used after he switched his items.
- Geisha has been added to the character list of Hunter AI bots for Nightmare difficulty.
Character Day Event
- Martha's (Coordinator) birthday (April 3) is here, and her annual birthday party has officially begun. Participate in the event and complete quests to get exclusive birthday rewards! Players who participated in Martha's birthday event last year will receive all-new birthday rewards for this year after completing the event quest. Come and show your support for this beloved character!

Experience Improvements
- Corrected a mistake in the description of the Barmaid's Traits.
- Added a Returning Detective Channel in the server-wide chatting feature to facilitate communication amongst returning Detectives.
Bug Fixes
- Fixed an issue where Hunters could hit Survivors through obstacles in specific locations in Leo's Memory and Golden Cave maps.
- Fixed an issue on the Arms Factory map where players couldn't get into certain areas at the entrance of the Basement beside the big house.
- Fixed an issue where the Hunter's view would have abnormalities when they moved closed to some of the objects in Eversleeping Town.
- Fixed an issue where the performance of the Costume - Zazie was incorrect when the player deployed the Peeper or moved while using Tier 2 ability.
- Fixed an issue where, after the "Little Girl" was Intimidated by the "Herald," the Memory Sync button wasn't hidden properly.
- Fixed an issue where, when watching a saved video, tapping pause and exiting the interface would cause a loading error.
- Fixed an issue where the Acrobat would land at an irregular spot when using a Bomb at a certain location in the Sacred Heart Hospital map.
- Fixed an issue where Acrobat's Bomb would be ineffective after it hit the Dream Witch.
- Fixed an issue where, when holding the Lasso button at a time when the Cowboy couldn't use the ability, releasing the button when the ability was available would be deemed as successfully releasing the Lasso.
- Fixed an issue where Presence would increase when Guard 26's Remote-controlled Bomb and Time Bomb hit a newly Resurrected Survivor.
- Fixed an issue in the PC version where Guard 26's movements would be irregular when using Remote-controlled Bomb and Time Bomb in extreme deployment locations.
- Fixed an issue in the PC version where the Feaster's movements would be irregular when using Tentacles in extreme deployment locations.
- Fixed an issue in the PC version where the Breaking Wheel's movements would be irregular when using Reticent to hurl a nail board in extreme deployment locations.
- Fixed an issue in the PC version where the Violinist's movements would be irregular when using Sonata to launch Music Notes in extreme deployment locations.
- Fixed an issue where Presence would increase when Evil Reptilian hit a newly Resurrected Survivor with Crash.
- Fixed an issue where the audio effects would become irregular when the Breaking Wheel switched forms by the river in the Darkwoods.
- Fixed an issue where the Breaking Wheel wouldn't slow down when switching to human form in the muddy area in Sacred Heart Hospital.
Negative Play and Cheating Penalties
It has recently come to our attention that a small number of players have been found guilty of non-participation, negative play, and cheating, all of which significantly affect the experience of other players and threaten the game's fairness. In the future, we will intensify the punishments for such behaviors in order to provide a healthy gaming environment for everyone. We also encourage you to use the in-game reporting system to provide us with feedback when encountering negative behavior. Let us work together to maintain order and integrity in the Manor.

Identity V will be updated on April 7, 2022 (UTC+8). The following content is for reference only, and the content of the actual maintenance notice shall prevail.
- The next chapter of the "Phantom" of Crystal Palace will be made available.
- S20 Essence 2 will be available. It contains the Mechanic's S-rarity costume, Bloody Queen's A-rarity costume, and Weeping Clown's A-rarity costume.
- The new Hunter, Clerk, as well as her S-rarity costume and A-rarity Accessory, will be available in the Shop for a limited time.
- The Beginner's Event will commence. Complete quest to obtain Clues, Trial Cards, Portrait Frames, and other rewards, including the ultimate character and costume rewards.
- The Beginner's Free Package and many other discounted Beginner's Packages will be available in the Shop.
