- The second investigation report of The Phantom of the Crystal Palace is now available. Taken from a different point of view, it serves to supplement the first investigation report on the "phantom" of the Crystal Palace.

Tier 0 Ability:
Record: Record the target's movements and interactions in the next 12 seconds by holding (select a Survivor) or tapping (select yourself) the ability button. Tap the ability button again to end the recording. The recorded clip will be saved in your storage. These interactions include Vaulting, Decoding, Activating the Exit Gate, Hunter's attacks, and Hunter using Abnormal. A Survivor's vaulting speed is reduced by 20% while being recorded. Clips are saved as 2 copies, while Hunter clips are saved as 1 copy.
Replay: Select a clip and place it anywhere in the scene to replay the clip. Tapping the ability button will replay the clip where it was recorded. If the interaction in the clip matches the location placed, the interaction will be affected accordingly. The Hunter's attacks and Abnormal are 50% effective in the clip, and their attacks will not cause Terror Shocks.
Replay Modes: Tap the ability button to switch between playback modes—forward and reverse.
Inspect: Hold to select a target and observe the target area from a bird's-eye view. You can record and replay in the area or even perform actions like moving and attacking. Selectable Targets: Undecoded Cipher Machines, Rocket Chairs with Survivors on them, and Activatable Exit Gates.
Tier 1 Ability:
Invalid: Survivors cannot interact with previously interacted locations in the recording for 10 seconds after the recording is completed.
Tier 2 Ability:
Review: Activating this function will delete any movements in the recording that are of no use and will only preserve key interactions and movements connecting them.
[Beginner System]
- [7-Day Check-in]: Log in consistently to claim rewards, including Character Trial Cards, Clues, and a chance to choose 1 of 6 Characters. Detectives who've owned all characters included in the reward will receive 200 Fragments instead.
- [Welcoming Quest]: Beginner's Quests refresh daily and consist of General Quests, Survivor Quests, and Hunter Quests. Players will receive Clues as a reward upon completing these quests. Complete the specified number of quests during the event to claim Costume Trial Cards, Clues, and a chance to choose 1 of 6 B-rarity costumes. Detectives who've owned all costumes included in the reward will receive 200 Fragments instead.
- [Beginner's Guide]: The Beginner's Guide comprises 5 phases. Detectives must complete all quests in the previous phase to unlock the next. Complete quests in each phase to claim Clues, Graffiti, Portraits, and Portrait Frames.
- [Beginner Packages]: Free Benefit Package, Free Treasure Package, and various discounted packages are now available. Claim the free packages for Clues, Treasures, and various Beginner privileges. Detectives who have claimed beginner privileges will receive a 100% Persona Level bonus and 10% Logic Points bonus in all modes for 7 days.

- Removed the Survivor Quick Message, "Hunter doesn't have Detention!"(Triggered quick message still exists)
[Experience Improvements]
- Amended the traits' description for the Priestess, the Grave Keeper, the Novelist, the Batter, and the Weeping Clown.
- Returning Players will receive a 100% Deduction Points bonus during the first three matches each day during the Returning Period.
- Adjusted the font size of the in-battle prompt for the Dual Joysticks ability cancel.(Applies to all members of the team. Additional bonuses from Returning Event cannot stack.)
[Bug Fixes]
- Fixed an issue where Weeping Clown's unoccupied Rocket would explode upon collision with a cobweb.
- Fixed the icon for Seer's "Verdant Bard" costume.
- Fixed an issue where ability cooldowns would display anomalies when the Novelist lost connection and reconnected while using Outline.
- Fixed an issue where the Motion Switch icon would remain for some characters after losing connection and reconnecting while spectating after a battle.
- Fixed an issue where pallets destroyed by the Evil Reptilian's Lethal Crash would not increase the score and were not included in the total number of pallets destroyed in the post-match stats.
- Fixed an issue where the Dancer would collide with the Dream Witch when using Slide within the range of her Music Box.
- Fixed an issue with the Wildling in Tarot - Crystal Ball Mode, where the Howl ability's cooldown was displayed abnormally.
- Fixed an issue where the Wildling could be hit by Naiad's normal attacks while in the Riding State.
- Fixed an issue where the Acrobat would get stuck into objects and couldn't move after using his Bomb at a certain location in Leo's Memory map.
- Fixed an issue where Wu Chang's normal attack speed boost gained after switching appearances might not be cleared after one attack.
- Fixed an issue where using fireworks furniture items in the Room only worked once.
- Fixed an issue where the Painter's eyes might suddenly shrink when standing still.
Negative Play and Cheating Penalties
It has recently come to our attention that a small number of players have been found guilty of non-participation, negative play, and cheating, all of which significantly affect the experience of other players and threaten the game's fairness. In the future, we will intensify the punishments for such behaviors in order to provide a healthy gaming environment for everyone. We also encourage you to use the in-game reporting system to provide us with feedback when encountering negative behavior. Let us work together to maintain order and integrity in the Manor.

Identity V will be updated on April 14, 2022 (UTC+8). The following content is for reference only, and the content of the actual maintenance notice shall prevail.
- Updated Recharge Rewards: Players who have recharged 200,000 Echoes will receive an exclusive S-rarity pet, 3,000 Inspirations, costume sharing function, and exclusive chat color/chat bubble.
- The "Prisoner's" S-rarity costumes and their accessories will be available for a limited time.
- The Gardener's Ivory Tower series costume will be available for a limited time.
- The Geisha's Backdrift series costume will be available for a limited time.
- Adding a new Costume Illustrations system to display the costumes you owned.
- We will be adding additional rewards for Penrose Maze's ultimate prize. Detectives receiving Perfumer's [SS Costume] Mnemosyne's Dream will receive the following additions, including exclusive Dynamic Portrait, Dynamic Portrait Frame, Emote, and Dynamic Graffiti.
