To ensure smooth operation, Identity V will issue a hotfix on August 11, 2022, at 08:00 (UTC+8).
- This week's maintenance will be replaced by a hotfix. The hotfix will begin at 08:00 on August 11, 2022 (UTC+8), during which most of the game modes will remain available, including Quick Match, Custom Mode, Events, and Logic Path. (Note: The entrance to Ranked Match will be closed temporarily during the hotfix. However, Ranked Matches already in progress will not be affected.)
- After 10:30 (UTC+8), players will have to exit the game to receive the latest patch. All game modes will be back online once the latest patch is installed (may be subject to postponement should there be any issues).
- If there are still players who haven't installed the latest patch after 11:00 (UTC+8), the server will perform a forced update. During this time, these players will be forced to log out, and they will be able to play again once the game client is restarted (may be subject to postponement should there be any issues).

[Quest Improvements]
- The quest "First 3 Wins of the day" in Battle Statistics has been changed to "First 3 Draws or Victories of the day."
- The Weekend Quest "Achieve a victory" has been changed to "Achieve a Draw or Victory."
- Quick Match, Ranked Match, Five-Player, Duo Hunters, Frenzy Rhapsody, Chasing Shadows, Tarot, and Blackjack modes now support quests with the objective of obtaining a draw or victory in Battle Statistics and Weekend Quest.

[Experience Improvements]
- Added notifications for Match Goal, Frenzy Phase, and Game Over to Frenzy Rhapsody Mode.
- Improved the layout of the Spectate interface in Frenzy Rhapsody.
- Added icons to each sliding direction for the Antiquarian's items.
- Added a "Nonparticipating" option to the reporting system.
- Improved the interface for replacing messages located on the side of the Matching Room Notebook upon tapping the Quick Messages Settings icon.
- Improved the Quick Messages Settings in the PC version so the sending options for Quick Messages can now be adjusted.
- The data shown on the Frenzy Rhapsody results page has been changed to KDR.
[Battle]
- The Antiquarian is now available in Duo Hunters, Blackjack, and Tarot modes.
- Adjusted the refresh rules of special balls during the non-Frenzy Phase based on the number of players in Frenzy Rhapsody.
- After activating the Crystal Ball in Tarot - Crystal Ball mode, the countdown for Survivors coming out of the Coffin after Rebirth has been adjusted to 4 seconds.
Social Improvements
- Your name will be differentiated with a different color in the Profile's record interface.
- Improved the exit effect of the Profile's illustrations interface.
- Added Detective Costumes to the Profile's collection interface.
- After a Friend's Remark Name has been created, the original name can be viewed in the Friends List.
- Added an "unclaimed" status to Mail. Tap on the mail's content to remove the red dot prompt. Read mail with unclaimed attachments will not be deleted.
- Added a "Force Delete" button to Intimacy Gift Mail, allowing forced deletion of Mail that contains unclaimed Intimacy Gifts.
[Bug Fixes]
- Fixed a duplicate ability description for the Prisoner in Blackjack mode.
- Fixed an issue where the Antiquarian could jump off the stairs at a specific angle in Leo's Memory.
- Fixed an issue where the tentacles in Frenzy Rhapsody mode were throwing the incorrect type of balls.
- Fixed an issue in Frenzy Rhapsody mode where the light beam highlighting the ball was erroneously displayed.
- Fixed an issue in Frenzy Rhapsody mode where the interaction buttons would disappear when the player switched to a different app while rotating the camera angle.
- Fixed an issue in Blackjack mode where a Survivor could make an ability disappear with the terrain console while transforming into Mad Eyes.
- Fixed an issue where the camera would freeze if the Antiquarian was interrupted while using an item.
- Fixed an issue where the Antiquarian could flip backward onto the platform when using Flip near the rear of the ship in Lakeside Village.
- Fixed a typo in the description of the Antiquarian's Trait in the Notebook.

- Fixed an issue where, when a Hunter was attracted by the Prospector's Magnet in mid-air, the magnet would abnormally display after using Excitement.
- Fixed an issue in Frenzy Rhapsody mode where the explosion of an Explosive Ball would lead to miscalculated elimination points.
- Fixed an issue in Frenzy Rhapsody mode where an Explosive Ball would disappear upon hitting an obstacle.

- Fixed an issue where the Wanted Order Talent may be active indefinitely after logging in again and entering the match.
- Fixed an issue where the Patient's Emotional Attachment would be activated when the Camera World's Patient decodes a Cipher Machine with someone from the opposite gender in the Camera World.
Negative Play and Cheating Penalties
It has recently come to our attention that a small number of players have been found guilty of non-participation, negative play, and cheating, all of which significantly affect the experience of other players and threaten the game's fairness. In the future, we will intensify the punishments for such behaviors in order to provide a healthy gaming environment for everyone. We also encourage you to use the in-game reporting system to provide us with feedback when encountering negative behavior. Let us work together to maintain order and integrity in the Manor.
