Maintenance Content for August. 25

Dear Detectives,
To ensure smooth operation, Identity V will issue a hotfix on August 25, 2022, at 08:00 (UTC+8).
- This week's maintenance will be replaced by a hotfix. The hotfix will begin at 08:00 on August 25, 2022 (UTC+8), during which most of the game modes will remain available, including Quick Match, Custom Mode, Events, and Logic Path. (Note: The entrance to Ranked Match will be closed temporarily during the hotfix. However, Ranked Matches already in progress will not be affected.)
- After 10:30 (UTC+8), players will have to exit the game to receive the latest patch. All game modes will be back online once the latest patch is installed (may be subject to postponement should there be any issues).
- If there are still players who haven't installed the latest patch after 11:00 (UTC+8), the server will perform a forced update. During this time, these players will be forced to log out, and they will be able to play again once the game client is restarted (may be subject to postponement should there be any issues).

[Season Essence]
- Season 22 Essence 3 is now available. New costumes include the Hermit's S-rarity costume "Warden," the Prisoner's A-rarity costume "Winter Cicada," and the Priestess's A-rarity costume "Frozen Butterfly." Obtain the S-rarity costume "Warden" and receive the all-new Hunter "Hermit" for free.
- At 80/130/180 draws, players will receive the following bonus rewards: [Portrait] "Prisoner" - Winter Cicada/[Portrait] Priestess - Frozen Butterfly/[Portrait] Hermit - Warden.

[External Trait] Blessing
- The Hermit's scepter holds the Eye of Darkness' power, allowing it to deal 1.2x basic attack damage, release electrical currents, generate electromagnetic fields, and bestow a positive or negative electrical charge on Survivors.
Bestow: The electromagnetic field generated by the scepter will bestow an electrical charge to Survivors without an electrical charge. Hermit can connect Cipher Machines and Exit Gates. Decoding Cipher Machines and Exit Gates connected by the Hermit will transfer a positive charge to Survivors.
Convert: Survivors can reverse their polarity once every 80 seconds after decoding a connected Cipher Machine or Exit Gate. This effect has a 50-second cooldown at the start of the match.
[External Trait] Selflessness
- The believers of Eye of Darkness advocate for selflessness and collegiality. Survivors with an electrical charge of the same polarity will share the Hermit's attack damage. Activating this effect will remove the electrical charge on all Survivors. The shared damage does not activate Terror Shock.
Tier 0 Ability [Miracle] (Cooldown: 12 seconds)
- Launches a lightning orb in the direction that the camera is facing, creating an electromagnetic field upon hitting an object. The electromagnetic field will not be formed if the target is too high up.
Electromagnetic Field: The electromagnetic field will transfer an electrical charge to Survivors without an electrical charge or pull nearby Survivors with the opposite polarity to its center and stun them for 2 seconds. When Survivors are stunned by the electromagnetic field in short successions, the third and subsequent stuns will reduce to 0.5 seconds.
Tier 0 Ability [Reverse Polarity]
- Reverses the polarity of the electrical charge generated by the electromagnetic reactor.
Tier 0 Ability [Meditation] (Cooldown: 60 seconds)
- The Hermit enters a meditative state to detect the field, during which he can connect up to 5 Cipher Machines and form a closed circuit. When Survivors decode these Cipher Machines, 50% of the decoding progress will remain in the current Cipher Machine, while 35% will be distributed evenly among the other connected Cipher Machines. The transmission itself consumes the remaining 15% of the decoding progress. The Hermit can connect the Exit Gate's circuit upon activation, giving Survivors the same transmission and consumption effect as decoding a Cipher Machine.
Tier 1 Ability [Attachment] (Cooldown: 40 seconds)
- The Hermit imbues his will to the electromagnetic globe at the top of his scepter. The electromagnetic globe will rise into the air, giving the Hermit an aerial vision of the field. When the electromagnetic orb is imbued with the Hermit's will, it can launch a lightning orb in the direction that the camera is facing.
Second Dawn: When the electromagnetic orb is imbued with the Hermit's will, it can be launched in the direction the camera is facing. The Hermit will then teleport to where the electromagnetic orb lands and release an electromagnetic field.

[Battle]
- The Antiquarian is now available in Blackjack and Tarot modes.
- The description for the talent [Detention] has been amended from "deals double damage against Survivors" to "deals an additional instance of normal attack damage against Survivors" (actual effect remains unchanged).
[Experience Improvements]
- Improved the performance of the tassel on the Antiquarian's flute.
- Adjusted the font for the cooldown of Antiquarian's abilities so that it's easier to read.
- Reduced the broadcasting duration for personal elimination and Frenzy phase in Frenzy Rhapsody mode.
- Added a Hide/Expand feature to Deduction Quests by tapping the icon and removed the option in Settings to display Deduction Quests in battles.
- The size and position of the Dancer's Slide ability button can now be adjusted in Custom Battle Controls.
[Bug Fixes]
- Fixed an issue where using the "Escape" feature in the areas around the ship in Lakeside Village would cause the character to go through walls.
- Fixed an issue where the sound effects would be missing when the Photographer held the ability button for Time Jump.
- Fixed an issue in the Sacred Heart Hospital where, when the Breaking Wheel pulled out a Survivor from a certain locker, the Survivor was able to vault over a window and would get stuck during the interaction.
- Fixed an issue where using the 360-degree Camera in Room Picture would lead to overlapping.
- Fixed an issue where there was an irregular judgment when the Weeping Clown's Rocket hit the Clerk.
- Fixed an issue where interacting with Music-Playing furniture would cause abnormalities to character emotes.
- Fixed an issue where an application to join a Custom Room could be sent, but was actually invalid.
- Fixed an issue where Survivors were knocked back to the right by the Little Girl's Memory Fragment on the roller coaster in Moon River Park.
- Fixed an issue where Survivors might be instantly knocked back to an abnormal location by the Little Girl's Memory Fragment in the process of getting on the roller coaster in Moon River Park.
- Fixed an issue where the Entangled status would not end when the Grave Keeper is hit back above ground by the Hunter while using a Shovel with Underground Sneak while in the Entangled status.
- Fixed an issue in Duo Hunters mode where the Mechanical Flute's form would be incorrect once the duration of Poseidon Watch ends if the Antiquarian used a Spin while using Poseidon Watch.
- Fixed an issue where the Antiquarian could use Flip to leap out of a cottage's basement from a crack in Lakeside Village.
- Fixed an issue in Single Training mode where the Antiquarian's item would return to its default position upon being auto-replenished.
- Fixed an issue where the Toy Merchant would get stuck in midair upon using Catapult Repulsion at a certain location in Darkwoods.
- Fixed an issue where the Room furniture - Royal Curtain could not be placed at certain locations.
- Fixed an issue where the Professor's Scaled Skin would vanish upon being hit by the Breaking Wheel in Wheel form.
Negative Play and Cheating Penalties
It has recently come to our attention that a small number of players have been found guilty of non-participation, negative play, and cheating, all of which significantly affect the experience of other players and threaten the game's fairness. In the future, we will intensify the punishments for such behaviors in order to provide a healthy gaming environment for everyone. We also encourage you to use the in-game reporting system to provide us with feedback when encountering negative behavior. Let us work together to maintain order and integrity in the Manor.

- The Frenzy Rhapsody mode will no longer be available on September 1, 2022 (after maintenance).
