Welcome to Identity V!
To ensure smooth operation, Identity V will issue a hotfix on December 8, 2022, at 08:00 (UTC+8).
- This week's maintenance will be replaced by a hotfix. The hotfix will begin at 08:00 on December 8, 2022 (UTC+8), during which most of the game modes will remain available, including Quick Match, Custom Mode, Events, and Logic Path. (Note: The entrance to Ranked Match will be closed temporarily during the hotfix. However, Ranked Matches already in progress will not be affected.)
- After 10:30 (UTC+8), players will have to exit the game to receive the latest patch. All game modes will be back online once the latest patch is installed (may be subject to postponement should there be any issues).
- If there are still players who haven't installed the latest patch after 11:00 (UTC+8), the server will perform a forced update. During this time, these players will be forced to log out, and they will be able to play again once the game client is restarted (may be subject to postponement should there be any issues).

- Before his family exiled him, Frederick Kreiburg desperately needed a change in his life. The new Survivor "Composer" is now available at 688 Echoes or 3,568 Clues.
- The Composer's B-rarity Costume "Blending" is now available at 318 Echoes or 1,188 Fragments.
[Battle]
- Composer is now available in Duo Hunters, Blackjack, Tarot, Chasing Shadows, and Frenzy Rhapsody Modes.
- Composer's Deduction Quests are now available.
- Tonal Sensation stacks will reduce over time if the client is switched to the background while the Composer is decoding.
- Survivors inflicted with Cocoon Death can trigger the default Talent "Distress."
[Experience Improvements]
- In Ranked Matches, players at Peak Tier VII with 50 stars or above can recruit or team up with any player at Peak Tier VII with 50 stars or above.
- Added a secondary confirmation for Equip All in the pop-up interface when obtaining a new Pet to avoid accidental selections.
[Bug Fixes]
- Fixed an issue where the Composer would behave abnormally after being rescued by the First Officer.
- Fixed an issue where the Barmaid is unable to complete Deduction Quests under certain circumstances.
- Fixed an issue where the reduction of Fear becomes abnormal when the Survivor drinks Strong Dovlin under certain circumstances.
- Fixed an issue in matches with Photographer where the Composer's character model is displayed abnormally in the Camera World.
- Fixed an issue where the Survivor will no longer be Tipsy upon taking damage that is weaker than a normal attack but stronger than 50% of a normal attack.
- Fixed an issue in Tarot mode where the Dancer is unable to pick up the Music Box while holding an item.
- Fixed an issue where the Music Box's sound effects would be played in the Camera World.
- Fixed an issue where the decoding progress would be displayed abnormally when playing a recording under certain circumstances.
- Fixed an issue where hidden achievement points would be displayed incorrectly when Mind's Eye escapes the Manor.
- Fixed an issue where the custom key for the Antiquarian's Spin is displayed incorrectly in battle.
- Fixed an issue where characters are able to directly interact with targets in certain locations even when there is a height difference between them.
Negative Play and Cheating Penalties
It has recently come to our attention that a small number of players were reported for non-participation, negative play, and cheating, all of which significantly affect the experience of other players and threaten the game's fairness. In the future, we will intensify the punishments for such behaviors in order to provide a healthy gaming environment for everyone. We also encourage you to use the in-game reporting system to provide us with feedback when encountering negative behavior. Let us work together to maintain order and integrity in the Manor.

Identity V will be updated on December 15, 2022 (UTC+8). The following content is for reference only, and the content of the actual maintenance notice shall prevail.
- "A Christmas Eve Mystery" event begins! Complete sign-ins and event quests each day to claim Room Furniture, Event Portraits, Event Portrait Frames, and more. Complete event quests to exchange 1 of 2 Event Costumes, [Entomologist - Xmas Ensemble] or [Photographer - Xmas Ensemble].
- The Christmas-themed A-rarity costume, [Evil Reptilian - Christmas Party], will be available for purchase using Fragments or Echoes.
- Christmas Furniture will be available for purchase using Clues or Echoes.
- The Christmas-themed A-rarity costume, [Gamekeeper - Christmas Reindeer], will be returning to the Shop for a limited time.
- The Christmas-themed B-rarity costumes, [Gardener - Xmas Ensemble] and [Hell Ember - Santa], will be returning to the Event Shop for a limited time.
