I. Memory Sphere Reset
[Memory Sphere - Previous Seasons]: Players can now reset a guaranteed item for each quality grade. When they obtain an item in that quality grade, they will receive the item they previously assigned as the guarantee. Please assign your guarantee item in time as they cannot be accrued.

- Chinese New Year's Eve is right around the corner, just in time for Lion Pagoda's reopening in Chinatown. Lion Pagoda's Sichuan opera performer, Face-Changer, entertained the guests with a delicious hot pot and a superb face-changing performance. The reunion dinner of Chinese New Year's Eve arrived as expected, and as the guests clinked their glasses in high spirits, they unanimously proposed to start a Sichuan opera performance that would sweep through Chinatown...

Event 2: Year-End Preparations
1. Decoration Quest: Battle quests will be unlocked daily during the event. Complete quests to obtain decorative items for the Lion Pagoda, Clues, Fragments, and more!
2. Collect Ingredients: Participate in the specified game modes to collect six different types of ingredients for up to 10 a day. Submit the correct ingredients for rewards, including [Graffiti] Smiley Face - Face-Changing, [Dish] General - Dumplings, and more. Certain ingredients can be gifted to friends via mail.

Event 3: "The Chinatown Mystery"
1. Experience a new storyline about a series of mishaps during a Sichuan opera dress rehearsal, with a new chapter unlocked each day. Complete the storyline to obtain Sichuan Opera Tickets and [Label] Colorful Life as rewards.
2. Participate in the specified game modes to obtain Sichuan Opera Tickets.
3. Redeem Sichuan Opera Tickets in the Event Shop for General A-rarity Costume Unlock Cards, Survivor General Accessory "Broom," [Portrait Frame] Reunion Dinner, Emotes, and more.

Event 4: Chinese New Year Fireworks Show
1. Welcome to Chinatown this Chinese New Year! There will be fireworks shows and all manner of entertainment for your amusement at every hour. This time around, live commenting, Red Packets, and Chinese New Year Blessing Packets will also be available. Give them a try!
2. The Fireworks Booth also offers three different kinds of fireworks, and the Lantern Stand offers Wishing Lanterns. Feel free to light up Chinatown with festive lights and celebrate an unforgettable Chinese New Year! Invite your friends to set off fireworks, take group photos, send New Year blessings, and make memories for the New Year!
3. The Schedule for the Chinatown Fireworks Shows are as follows:
17:30 on January 20, 2023, and 17:30, 19:30, 21:30, and 23:30 on January 21 to January 24, 2023. The entrance will open for 1 hour.

[Call of the Abyss VI - The Binary Star Phase Begins]
- Call of the Abyss VI's third phase, [The Binary Star], will commence after maintenance on January 12, 2023. The top 100 clubs (top 50 for certain regions) from [The Whisperer in the Show] will compete for points in [The Binary Star]. The top 8 teams (top 7 for Japan) with the most points will be invited to the COA VI Online Qualifier. If any clubs among the top 8 (top 7 for Japan) have already qualified for the COA VI Qualifier/Grand Finals, the next club in line will be invited.
- Players who didn't advance to [The Binary Star] may still obtain individual battle quest rewards during this period and unlock Clues in "Abyssal Whisper."
[Character Day]
- Helena's (Mind's Eye) birthday (January 13) is here and the annual Birthday Party has officially begun. Participate in the event and complete quests to get exclusive birthday event rewards! Players who participated in Helena's birthday event last year will receive all-new birthday rewards for this year after completing the event quest. [Battle]
- Removed the player quantity requirements in Area Selection in Custom mode. It can now be enabled along with Robot AI or Nightmare-difficulty Hunter AI options.
- When displaying quick messages regarding remaining items, some characters will have an additional quick message displaying the cooldown or quantity of other external traits.
[Experience Improvements]
- Added a new price tier to Echo recharge.
- Added a toggle for hiding the cloak of Wu Chang's "The Binary Star" costume. You can now hide the cloak to prevent it from blocking your vision.
- Removed the ability to use both a wheel and a list for quick messages in the PC version.
- Improved the mechanism of the Survivor Talent "Symbiotic Effect." It will no longer trigger when Survivors walk backwards.
[Bug Fixes]
- Fixed an issue in Frenzy Rhapsody where balls would fall in places where they couldn't be picked up.
- Fixed an issue where the Dream Witch's Followers would spawn at incorrect locations in Eversleeping Town.
- Fixed an issue where Geisha's skill would function abnormally when silenced while charging up Dancing in Misery during Soul Departure.
- Fixed an issue where playing a clip does not interrupt the backswing of the previous clip when Clerk uses Replay.
- Fixed an issue where characters are able to interact with targets in certain locations even when there is a height difference between them.
- Fixed an issue where there would be anomalies when a player taps Custom Settings in a match.
- Fixed an issue where Guard 26 is unable to use Remote-controlled Bombs in matches.
- Fixed an issue where, when Wu Chang charges up to use Summon under unstable network conditions, canceling would sometimes fail and lead to anomalies.
- Fixed an issue where in Lakeside Village where, after Acrobat uses a Bomb at the ship's staircase, the position of the circular area generated would be abnormal.
- Fixed an issue where the animation of the Feaster's tentacles would be displayed incorrectly when struck by the Antiquarian while attacking.
- Fixed an issue in matches with Clerk, where Record's special effects would become abnormal when Survivors are rescued from the Rocket Chair by First Officer.
- Fixed an issue where the special effects of some of Wu Chang's costumes may disappear.
- Fixed an issue where using Borrowed Time after being rescued by First Officer would cause the running animations to be displayed abnormally.
- Fixed an issue where some translations of Wildling's External Trait are missing.
