To ensure smooth operation, Identity V will issue a hotfix on April 27, 2023, at 08:00 (UTC+8).
- This week's maintenance will be replaced by a hotfix. The hotfix will begin at 08:00 on April 27, 2023 (UTC+8), during which most of the game modes will remain available, including Quick Match, Custom Mode, Events, and Logic Path. (Note: The entrance to Ranked Match will be closed temporarily during the hotfix. However, Ranked Matches already in progress will not be affected.)
- After 10:30 (UTC+8), players will have to exit the game to receive the latest patch. All game modes will be back online once the latest patch is installed (may be subject to postponement should there be any issues).
- If there are still players who haven't installed the latest patch after 11:00 (UTC+8), the server will perform a forced update. During this time, these players will be forced to log out, and they will be able to play again once the game client is restarted (may be subject to postponement should there be any issues).
Notice: The scheduled maintenance on May 4th will be suspended, and the next maintenance will take place on May 11, 2023. We will still give out 200 Clues as maintenance compensation along with this week's compensation. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

[Duo Training]
- An entrance to Duo Training mode is added to Custom Script (Custom Mode). It will be merged with Single Training under training mode.
- Duo Training mode is only available when two players have chosen to be a Survivor and a Hunter, respectively. AI players can act as the remaining three Survivors.
- In this mode, players can try out all of the characters available for purchase. New characters that are not yet available for purchase can only be used in training mode by players who have obtained them.
- Audio is available in Duo Training.
- The command interface in Duo Training is only available to the captain with the following nine commands: [Teleport to Target], [Reset Pallets], [Quick Restart], [Switch Map/Character], [AI Control], [Disable Cooldown/Depletion], [Reduce Fear], [Increase Presence], and [Lock Presence].

[Battle]
- Journalist is now available in Duo Hunters, Blackjack, Tarot, and Frenzy Rhapsody Modes.

- Improved the pathing logic of the Journalist's illusions when vaulting over windows.
- Players who remain idle in Normal Mode and do not reconnect until the end of the match will receive 0 Deduction Points.
[Experience Improvements]
- The Accessory "Red Ink's" additional special effects from movement is available in the Room.
- Added an option in Settings to activate Red Ink's additional movement effects in all situations. (When enabled, the special effects would activate even when carrying other Accessories or when entering Duo Hunters and Tarot modes)
- Improved [Portrait] Photographer - Tranquility, [Portrait] Journalist - Eternity, and [Portrait] "Nightmare" - Piety.
- Adjusted the size of the Switch Character button in the Notebook interface.
- Alice DeRoss's Room Costume "Moment of Leisure" is a limited-edition obtained from the [Ashes of Memory I] story. Added the [Limited-Edition] label.
- Completed the third phase of improvements for Deduction Quests. Remade some of the Mechanic, Forward, Mind's Eye, Priestess, Perfumer, Cowboy, Dancer, Seer, Gamekeeper, Soul Weaver, and Feaster's Deduction Quests to lower their completion difficulty. (Players that have completed the quests will not be affected.)
- Decreased the difficulty of some of the Doctor, Gardener, Smiley Face, Mad Eyes, Herald, Hermit, and Night Watch's Deduction Quests.
- Improved the Hermit's action performance when vaulting windows so that the vaulting posture matches the model's collision judgment.
[Bug Fixes]
- Fixed an issue where the Journalist could not generate illusions near the chair in matches with the Photographer.
- Fixed an error in the in-game description of the Journalist's "Surveying Angle."
- Fixed an issue where muted players were unable to complete the Beginner Event's quest to send a chat message.
- Fixed an issue with the display logic of the red dot notification at the Beginner Event entrance.
- Fixed an issue where the Acrobat may pass through the floor when jumping on some stairs in Chinatown.
- Fixed an issue where the icon of the Dancer's Slide was incorrectly displayed after losing connection and reconnecting.
- Fixed an issue where the Photographer's attacks were not able to hit Survivors in the Camera World.
- Fixed an issue where the self-heal progress bar was incorrectly displayed when the Entomologist was knocked down.
- Fixed an issue in Duo Hunters where the Hunter could not be interrupted and silenced by the flashlight when charging Black Mud, Smoke Bottle, and Coldsnap Flask.
- Fixed an issue where the treasure's location would not vanish after being dug up in matches with the Explorer.
- Fixed an issue where the Night Watch could not jump over pallets in the correct direction while Windwalk was active.
- Fixed an issue where the head of the Ripper's A-rarity Costume "Uninvited Guest" was displayed abnormally in Hidden in Mist mode.
- Fixed an issue with the Psychologist's S-rarity Costume "Everlasting Night" where its collar would flicker at Performance Graphics Display Resolution 1.0.
- Fixed an issue with the Night Watch's S-rarity Costume "Morningstar" where clipping would occur when interacting with the Blue Rocking Chair in the Room.
- Fixed an issue with the Prospector's S-rarity Costume "Chuya Nakahara" where the Mirror Image in the Photographer's Camera World was colored and not black and white.
- Fixed an issue where the icon for previous Season Treasures was not displayed.
- Fixed an issue where the indicator and actual deployment location of their abilities were inconsistent when the Prospector, the Toy Merchant, Guard 26, the Breaking Wheel, and Hell Ember aimed when using abilities in some basements.
- Fixed an issue where the Batter's Cricket Ball would fall into scene objects.
- Fixed an issue where the Priestess could establish a Straight Passage through the air at a certain location in Eversleeping Town.
- Fixed an issue where Leech's special effect was displayed abnormally when the Dream Witch wears "Beckoning."
- Fixed an issue with the Doctor's S-rarity Costume "Blossom of Rebirth" in Performance Mode where the leg area would flicker upon entering the match.
- Fixed an issue where the sound effects for controlling the Mechanic's Doll would not play once the Hunter reconnects after losing connection.
- Fixed an issue where the Dungeon would open when multiple players remained in matches with the Journalist.
- Fixed an issue with the "Nightmare's" A-rarity Costume "Piety" where the sound effects of the ability "Raven" were missing.
- Fixed an issue with the Sculptor's S-rarity Costume "Succubus" where interacting with some furniture would have graphical errors.
- Fixed the missing sound effects when the Journalist used the Confused Emote.
- Fixed an issue where the Evil Reptilian's position would shift when using Crash from a certain staircase corner in Chinatown.
- Fixed an issue with the display logic of the red dot notification at the Item Backpack entrance.
- Fixed an issue where the Entomologist's Swarm of Insects may be unable to move when assembled at the edge of the map.
- Fixed an issue in matches with the "Undead" where the Journalist couldn't receive the effects of Tide Turner when being healed by a teammate with the Tide Turner Talent after being knocked down.
- Fixed an issue where the number of the Acrobat's Bombs is incorrect after the Acrobat switches Bombs under certain circumstances.
It has recently come to our attention that a small number of players have been found guilty of delaying tactics, intentionally losing, non-participation, negative play, using cheats, cheating in Blackjack mode, and hindering matchmaking for top-ranked matches, all of which significantly affect the experience of other players. We have started punishing the corresponding violations in order to provide a healthy gaming environment for everyone. We also encourage you to use the in-game reporting system to provide us with feedback when encountering negative behavior. Let us work together to maintain order and integrity in the Manor.
