October 19 Update Overview:
["Midnight Carnival" Begins]
- At midnight, when the carnival ends, partakers will be reunited and dance with the departed they miss most. A legend that has made countless flock to October City. This year's carnival doesn't seem to be going very smoothly. Is it the resurrection of evil spirits or the schemes of man? Will peace return once the "Queen" is crowned at the carnival? The whispers in the wind, drowned by the moonlight and the noise of the carnival. Yet the real truth only exists in the hearts of a small few...
Event 1: Daily Special
- Complete daily check-ins for various rewards, including Clues, Fragments, and [Portrait] Behind the Curtain.
Event 2: Carnival Festivities
- Complete battle quests to obtain the Portrait Frame "Mischief," the event token "Spirit Candle," and more! New battle quests will be unlocked each day.
Event 3: Story Experience
- The Midnight Carnival storyline will be unlocked over time. Complete the story to obtain various rewards, including [Emote] Hermit - Curtain Call, [Label] Final Audience, [Room Music] Midnight Carnival, [Furniture] Moonlit Castle, [Sticker] Dig In!, [Sticker] Good Night, Spirit Candles (event token), and more.
Event 4: Battle for Rewards
- Participate in Quick Match, Ranked Match, or Duo Hunters Mode to collect Spirit Candles (must earn 2,000 or more Deduction Points).
- Redeem Spirit Candles in the Event Shop for the Mechanic's A-rarity Costume "Paper Heart," the Opera Singer's B-rarity Costume "Lorelei," [Emote] Mechanic - Jack-O'-Lantern, B-rarity Accessory - Spooky Kitty, and [Sticker] Speechless.
Event 5: Nocturnal Escape - Fright Night
- The new "Nocturnal Escape - Fright Night" 2v4 game mode is now available. Engage in a cat-and-mouse game in a maze between four Survivors and two Tricksters. The four Survivors must overcome numerous obstacles to reach the Exit Gate and escape from the Moonlit Church, while the 2 Tricksters must utilize the objects around them to stop the Survivors from escaping.
- Survivors only need to teleport once to reach the Exit Gate.
- [Nocturnal Escape - Fright Night] has slightly better tally rewards compared to the regular [Nocturnal Escape].
- [Nocturnal Escape] will be temporarily unavailable after maintenance.
- Complete the limited-time quests to obtain [Graffiti] Pumpkin Knight, [Graffiti] Spooky Knight, Spirit Candles (event tokens), and more!

[Guild]
[Guild Management Function Optimizations]
1. Added Chat Button in Application List
- When the Chairman receives a membership application from an applicant, clicking the Chat button will create a temporary conversation on the Application Chat page, which can be used to communicate with the applicant. Each Guild can create up to 10 temporary conversations. If there are already 10 existing conversations, the Chairman must process their applications before creating new temporary conversations.
- When the Chairman position is transferred to another member, any temporary conversations related to the previous Chairman will be deleted. The new Chairman can initiate new conversations for any unprocessed applications.
- When the Chairman receives a reply from an applicant, they can quickly redirect to their chat through their pinned message in the Guild Chat Channel.
2. New Conditions
- Added an option that allows players to meet the conditions as either a Survivor or a Hunter.
3. Added Guild Announcement
- Added a new Guild Announcement function. Only the Chairman and Vice-Chairman have permission to edit the Guild Announcement. Members can choose to sync it to the Chat Channel and Guild Log.
4. Added "Leave a Like" Function in Guild Log
- After a Guild Member has been promoted, other Guild Members can leave likes for that member. Guild likes cannot be used to complete quests that require leaving likes.
5. Added Vice-Chairman Permissions
- Vice-Chairman permissions now include [Rename Guild] and [Change Announcement].
[Application Function Optimizations]
1. Added Quick Apply Function
- Added a Quick Apply button to the Guild List. Clicking it will send applications to all Guilds on the Guild List that meet the conditions.
- If the application limit is reached after using Quick Apply, batch applications will no longer be supported.
2. Added Guild Application Tab
- After a player submits a Guild Application, the Chairman of that Guild can initiate a temporary conversation with that player. The player can communicate with the Chairman through this temporary conversation.
3. Guild List Overhaul
- Added a Refresh button, which players can use to refresh the Guild List.
- Added a filter to sort Guilds based on Activity Points and number of members. Players can now sort through Guilds according to their preferences.
- Added an interactive feature to friend portraits. Players can now click on a friend's portrait to view their profile.
[Competitions]
- After the Summer IJL and IVS-Asia, the Identity V Japanese Pro League welcomes a brand-new challenge—the 2023 Autumn IJL! Professional teams will have another chance to go all out again!
- A total of 7 professional teams will go head-to-head in a new round of matches: ZETA DIVISION (the Summer IJL champions), SCARZ, REJECT, FENNEL, FAV gaming, AXIZ WAVE, and Arneb with WoG!
- Passions for V will be leading everyone through every exciting, action-packed moment in Identity V!

[Visual Accessibility Settings]
- [Visual Accessibility Settings] is now available, providing a set of visual enhancement solutions for players with red, blue, or green color blindness or vision deficiency. When activated, the colors of certain controls and special effects in the match will be changed, and certain special effects will display additional outlines. You can preview these effects in Settings and apply them to the game.

[Experience Improvements]
- Game resource files have been split; Pursuit Music and Tournament resource files can now be downloaded separately as selectable resource files (users who have downloaded the files will not be affected).
- Optimized the effects of the Perfumer's fourth Character Day exclusive emote.
[Bug Fixes]
- Fixed an issue where the bottom of the Lawyer's Take Notes meter and the progress bar would overlap under certain circumstances.
- Fixed an issue where the Dream Witch's Follower would get stuck in parts of the map when set to auto-follow targets in the Basement of Eversleeping Town.
- Fixed an issue where the Entomologist could get hit by the Fog Blade when surrounded by her Swarm of Insects.
- Fixed an issue where Survivors would sometimes fall into dropped Pallets after being knocked down.
- Fixed an issue where the Hunter's Stunned status was abnormal after being hit by the Tram and then pushed away by the "Little Girl's" Memory Fragment.
- Fixed an issue where some Survivors' actions would be displayed abnormally while using abilities and Motion Switch simultaneously.

Penalties for Violations
It has recently come to our attention that a small number of players have violated our code of conduct through delaying tactics, intentionally losing, idling, playing negatively, using cheats, cheating in Blackjack mode, and hindering matchmaking for top-ranked matches, all of which significantly affect the experience of other players. We have started punishing these violations in order to provide a healthy gaming environment for everyone. We also encourage you to use the in-game reporting system when encountering the behaviors above. Let us work together to maintain order and integrity in the Manor.
