To ensure smooth operation, Identity V will issue a hotfix on Thursday, at 08:00 (UTC+8).
- This week's maintenance will be replaced by a hotfix. The hotfix will begin at 08:00 on December 21, 2023 (UTC+8), during which most of the game modes will remain available, including Quick Match, Custom Mode, Events, and Logic Path. . (Note: The entrance to Ranked Match will be closed during the hotfix. However, Ranked Matches already in progress will not be affected.)
- After 10:30 (UTC+8), players will have to exit the game to receive the latest patch. All game modes will be back online once the latest patch is installed (may be subject to postponement should there be any issues).
- If there are still players who haven't installed the latest patch after 11:00 (UTC+8), the server will perform a forced update. During this time, these players will be forced to log out, and they will be able to play again once the game client is restarted (may be subject to postponement should there be any issues).

- Fixed an issue where Wu Chang's costume "CHENG XIAOSHI & LU GUANG" had abnormal hands.
- Fixed an issue where the buttons for spending Encourage and transmitting progress to the Exit Gate would overlap if the Cheerleader and the Prisoner were both present in a match.
- Fixed an issue where the completion requirements for Unknown Mark 7 during the "Little Girl's" Self Analysis were incorrect.
- Fixed an issue in Duo Hunters Mode where the Coldsnap Flask would disappear.
- Fixed an issue where the Axe Boy's items would display abnormally.
- Fixed an issue where "Fool's Gold" did not produce sound while walking in the Room.
- Fixed an issue where the Night Watch would jump abnormally while Windwalking if affected by a Drawing Board.
- Fixed a number of idle animations for various Survivors while standing in the Room.
