January 11 Update Overview
[New Season]
- [New Season]: After this week's maintenance, Season 29 will end, and Season 30 will officially begin. The Final Push event will also end at this time.
- [Logic Path]: When Season 30 begins, Logic Path level will be reset to 0. Also, Logic Path Rewards will be replaced by all-new S30 rewards. This season's Special Block Rewards include: [Portrait] "Herald" - Dogaressa, [Portrait Frame] "Herald" - Dogaressa, [B-rarity Accessory] "Herald" - Parasol, and [A-rarity Costume] "Herald" - Dogaressa. Players who reach the 600th block on Logic Path will be able to purchase this season's A-rarity Logic Path costumes within one month after the season ends. (The price of the costume will be 1,388 Echoes.)
- [Rank Treasure]: In Season 30, completing three Ranked Matches daily will reward players with Rank Treasures at 00:00 a.m. on the following day. There is a chance to obtain [S-rarity Accessory] Violinist - Burning Movement, [A-rarity Accessory] Novelist - Crime Scene Simulation, and [A-rarity Accessory] Cheerleader - Cheer. Rank Treasures will be rewarded according to the player's current highest Tier (Survivor or Hunter).
- [Tier Inheritance]: In Season 30, Ranked Match tiers will be carried over according to the player's tier in the previous season based on "Ranked Match - Season Rules." Players will also receive rewards based on their highest tier in the previous season. Detailed Tier Inheritance rules can be found in "Ranked Match - Season Rules."
- [Blackjack Points]: A fixed ratio of Blackjack Points will be carried over to the new season.
[Character Knowledge Inheritance]: In Season 30, Character Knowledge will be inherited according to the previous season's Character Knowledge Points.
- [4-sided Dice]: In Season 30, the maximum limit of 4-sided Dice will be 100. Players will not be able to retain any Dice that exceed this limit in Season 30, so please use them before they expire.
- [Memory Sphere - Previous Seasons]: A-rarity and B-rarity items obtainable from the S29 Season Essence and S-rarity items obtainable from the S29 Rank Treasures will be included in the Memory Sphere. Players may exchange Memory Spheres with Clues.
- [EXP]: New EXP level rewards will be available and the EXP level limit has been raised to 300.
- [Guild Activity Rankings Rewards]: Personal Activity Points and Guild Activity Points will be reset. Guild members will receive Season Guild Rewards based on their Guild Activity Points. Meanwhile, the Chairman and each guild member will receive rewards based on their position and the guild's final ranking.
- Manor Career data will be updated to January 11, 2024, 00:00:00.
[Call of the Abyss VII Phase II Fungal Wasteland Begins]
- Abyss Treasure is now available with the following new costumes: [S-rarity Costume] The Feaster - Lord of Calamity; [A-rarity Costume] "Psychologist" - Doomsday Rescuer, Patient - Rare Case, Composer - Pioneer Research, and Antiquarian - Mycology; [B-rarity Costume] "Herald" - Doomsday Zealot, Lucky Guy - Mechanical Gear, Clerk - Mycelium Monograph, Journalist - Official Report, and Aeroplanist - Failed Exploration. Players will not receive duplicate A-rarity Costumes until all A-rarity Costumes have been obtained.
- [Fungal Wasteland] The second phase of Call of the Abyss VII will commence after maintenance on January 11, 2024, during which players can obtain loads of exclusive event rewards by participating in battles. Clubs can participate in [Fungal Wasteland] battles to earn points. The top 100 clubs (top 50 for overseas regions) with the highest points will advance to [Infested Crater] phase.
- Players can participate in Individual and Club battles to earn "Abyssal Whispers" and other rewards. Abyssal Whispers tokens can be used to draw Professor's A-rarity Costume, Entomologist's B-rarity Costume, Abyss Treasures, and more in Wasteland Expedition.
[Shop]
- Congratulations once again to ZETA on becoming the 2023 IJL Autumn Champion! All of the characters they have used during the finals (Survivors: Aeroplanist, Gardener, Acrobat, First Officer, Barmaid, Antiquarian, Forward, Cheerleader, Prospector, Patient, and Entomologist. Hunters: Opera Singer, Night Watch, and Soul Weaver) will be available at 25% with Echoes in the next two weeks.

[Battle]
- Upon activating Metaphor, if the Hunter uses abilities such as Excitement to interrupt Metaphor by not allowing the Novelist to swap positions, the number of Metaphors will not be refunded.
- Added more distance restrictions for the Repulsion and Attraction effects of the Prospector's Magnet. The effects will be interrupted when the distance is too far.
[Experience Improvements]
- Optimized some Survivors' lower body movements when releasing abilities while standing still.
- Added a new [Custom Sounds] feature to Settings for players to customize the volume of some sounds.
- Added a new [Hide Other Players' Graffiti] feature to Settings. When activated, other players' graffiti will not be displayed during the match.
- Added a new [Battle Record Name Displaying Setting] feature to Settings, which allows players to set the display name on the character outline after activating the direction display in Match Replays. Players can choose to show player name, character name, or none.
- Optimized the display for network latency during a match, making it easier to detect network fluctuations.
- Added the [Portrait Combo] feature. Players can now customize and save Portrait and Portrait Frame combos. At the same time, players can recommend their favorite combos in the Combo Plaza or browse combos recommended by others.
- Shortened the duration of the character selection phase in some Casual Modes.
[Bug Fixes]
- Fixed an issue where the Novelist could stun the Hunter with a Pallet after using Metaphor on the Hunter, and the Hunter would be in an incorrect position when stunned.
- Fixed an issue where the release time and direction were incorrect when the Antiquarian used Flip right after using Sweep, Swing, and Stab.
- Fixed an issue where the Antiquarian could use Flip to enter odd locations in Sacred Heart Hospital.
- Fixed an issue where the "Fool's Gold" could throw the pickaxe too high when using Magnetic Conduction.
- Fixed an issue where the Aeroplanist would land in an incorrect location after jetting.
- Fixed an issue where the Acrobat would land in an incorrect location when using a Bomb in some areas of Leo's Memory.
- Fixed an issue where some standby motions of the A-rarity costume [Photographer - Dreamy Cinnamoroll] had graphical issues.
- Fixed an issue where some sound effects were missing when holding the Journalist's camera button for charging.
- Fixed an issue where the Journalist's illusion would move in an incorrect direction.
- Fixed an issue where immediately releasing the camera button after holding it for charging would cancel the ability.
- Fixed an issue where clicking on the Journalist's camera prompt when the camera enters cooldown would cause an error.
- Fixed an issue in Duo Hunters mode where the phone booth was not displayed in the shop.
- Fixed an issue in Darkwoods where the landing point of the Toy Merchant's Catapult did not match the actual landing point.
- Fixed an issue where the Graffiti button would disappear after some Survivors used their Items.
- Fixed an issue where the default layout does not take effect after some Survivors customized the position of their items in Violent Struggle mode.
- Fixed the issue where the Hermit's attack action may be abnormal after landing using Attachment ability under certain circumstances.
- Fixed an issue where the Journalist's illusion would remain on the radar after disappearing.
- Fixed an issue where Survivors could use the Catapult from certain locations in Leo's Memory to jump into the second-floor gap of the factory.
- Fixed an issue where the eyes of female Survivors didn't blink when taking photos.
- Fixed an issue where the Mercenary's "Tiger Tail" accessory had a graphical error after setting its special effects.
- Fixed the issue where the skirt texture of the Journalist would disappear abnormally when using the Decoy and Pocket Watch.
- Fixed the issue where the Forward might occasionally stop abnormally during a Dash Hit.
- Fixed the issue where The Breaking Wheel in wheel form might not be able to move after falling from the second floor of the Sacred Heart Hospital.
- Fixed the issue where the left jump button of the Evil Reptilian might not be able to customize its position.
- Fixed the issue where the key layout might be abnormal in the game scene of Leo's Memory for Postman as the Survivor.
- Fixed the issue where the Patroller might not be able to hit the Survivor on Cowboy's back correctly.
- Fixed the issue where the "Herald's" Psychic ability action might be played multiple times.
- Fixed the issue where the Postman's delivery failed due to immediate interaction with the Cipher Machine after delivery.
- Fixed the issue where quickly clicking on the Nightmare Gaze ability of The Feaster might fail to cast.
- Fixed the issue where quickly dragging the Puppet Control ability of Hell Ember might cause the vertical camera to lock.
- Fixed the issue where The Ripper carrying the Accessory: Rose Cane would cause an abnormal animation when he landed while holding a balloon and pressed the attack key.
- Fixed the issue where the special effects for the A-rarity costume [Photographer - Dreamy Cinnamoroll] of the Survivor's camera were displayed abnormally after disconnecting and reconnecting.
- Fixed the issue of the Mind's Eye's movement panning in some cases.
- Fixed the issue where the AI Hunter would not attack the Cowboy carrying a Survivor on his back.
