[Welcome the Year of the Dragon With Tea]
- To welcome the dragon dance troupe on their return to Chinatown, the newly-appointed antique restorer needs to blend in quickly with the life in Chinatown and handle a few "special affairs" before the grand performance. Phase one of the Lunar New Year event has begun! Visitors can obtain ingredients for this event from matches and turn in the ingredients to the madam of the Grand Theater to activate the subsequent storyline and other gameplay experiences. Submitting ingredients will also earn you rewards, including Graffiti and Clues, and learning in advance what tales lie in store in Chinatown this Lunar New Year.

[Call of the Abyss VII Infested Crater Phase Begins]
- Call of the Abyss VII's third phase, [Infested Crater], will commence after maintenance on January 25, 2024. The top 100 clubs (top 50 for certain regions) from [Fungal Wasteland] will compete for points in [Infested Crater]. The top 8 teams (top 5 for Japan) with the most points will be invited to the COA VII Online Qualifier. If any clubs among the top 8 (top 5 for Japan) have already qualified for the COA VII Qualifier/Global Finals, the next club in line will be invited.
- Club members who didn't qualify for the [Infested Crater] may still obtain Individual Abyss Battle rewards and unlock clues in "Wasteland Expedition" during this period.
[Character Day]
- Fiona's (Priestess) birthday (February 1) is here, and the annual Birthday Party has officially begun. Participate in the event and complete quests to get exclusive birthday rewards! Players who participated in Fiona's birthday event last year will receive all-new birthday rewards for this year after completing the event quest. Come and show your support for this beloved character!

[Experience Improvements]
- Significantly expanded the text library at the bottom of the loading screen, including tips about items and abilities, regular and casual game modes, map mechanics, and more. Optimized the logic for displaying text prompts, displaying relevant prompts based on the characters, game modes, and maps used in the matches. Doing so makes it easier for players to familiarize themselves with the game through reading the prompts.
- In some cases, the Evil Reptilian can use Lethal Crash when jumping above colliding scene objects.
- Added some Emote audio for the Barmaid, Postman, Prisoner, Painter, Batter, Novelist, and Cowboy.
- Improved the visibility of the warning effects in darker backgrounds when the Violinist is carrying the accessory "Burning Movement" while using Perpetual Motion.
[Bug Fixes]
- Fixed an issue where the Grave Keeper using Underground Sneak with the shovel could be interrupted by window vaulting.
- Fixed an issue where sound effects would be missing when the Grave Keeper uses a shovel to enter the Underground Sneak state.
- Fixed an issue where the normal attacks of Wu Chang, Naiad, and Fool's Gold did not match the animation.
- Fixed an issue where the Dream Witch's Followers would speed up when entering Auto Following.
- Fixed the issue where Unstable Ground was incorrectly generated by Rocket Chairs in the basement of Arms Factory, Red Church, and Leo's Memory.
- Fixed an issue where the Night Watch's Windwalk Charge was not performing normally.
- Fixed an issue where the Survivor may go through walls and experience rubber-banding when using the Catapult at a certain location in the Arms Factory.
- Fixed the issue where the Professor's Scaled Skin icon would disappear when the Photographer creates the Camera World.
- Fixed an issue where the Opera Singer's Shadow Leap was not performing normally.
- Fixed an incorrect description of the Professor's Evil Scale trait during matches.
- Fixed an audio error that happened when the Naiad used Spearfishing while spectating.
- Fixed an issue where the Journalist's illusion would not disappear after being knocked down by the "Undead's" Charged Strike.
- Fixed an issue where the Opera Singer couldn't generate Shadow Realm correctly in Lakeside Village and Eversleeping Town.
- Fixed an issue in Tarot Mode where the Opera Singer's Sneak ability wouldn't exit when pulling down a fallen King or Squire.
- Fixed an issue where the Hermit's Electromagnetic Field could cause the Survivor to end up in an abnormal location under specific circumstances.
- Fixed an issue where the Survivor's falling direction would be abnormal after being hit by the Hunter when using a Flare Gun in certain situations.
[Next Week's Preview]
- As the dragon dance troupe arrives in Chinatown, the "Creating the Dragon" event will also start on February 1, 2024. Participate in "Creating the Dragon" to obtain the Survivor Emote "Dragon Dance" and upgrade it by completing the event.
- The [Nymph Award] Series Best Performance Costumes will be available in the Shop, including [S-rarity Costume] Naiad - Weeping Goddess and [S-rarity Costume] Wu Chang - Brilliant Polaris.
- S30 Essence 2 is now available with new costumes, including [S-rarity Costume] Puppeteer - KING-h1, [A-rarity Costume] Night Watch - KNIGHT-c3, and [A-rarity Costume] Cheerleader - BISHOP-f1.
Penalties for Violations
It has recently come to our attention that a small number of players have violated our code of conduct through delaying tactics, intentionally losing, idling, playing negatively, using cheats, cheating in Blackjack mode, and hindering matchmaking for top-ranked matches, all of which significantly affect the experience of other players. We have started punishing these violations in order to provide a healthy gaming environment for everyone. We also encourage you to use the in-game reporting system when encountering the behaviors above. Let us work together to maintain order and integrity in the Manor.
