March 21 Update Overview
 
[New Season]

- [New Season]: After this week's maintenance, Season 30 will end and Season 31 will officially begin. The Final Push event will also end at this time.

- [Season Essence]: The Season 31 Essence 1 is now officially open this week, with new costume updates, including [S-rarity Costume] The Shadow - Morpheus' Vestibule, [A-rarity Costume] Embalmer - Hippocampus, and [A-rarity Costume] Aeroplanist - Strange Dream. When the number of draws reaches 80/130/180 times, you will receive additional [Portrait] Embalmer - Hippocampus/[Portrait] Aeroplanist - Strange Dream/[Portrait] The Shadow - Morpheus' Vestibule.

- [Logic Path]: When Season 31 begins, Logic Path level will reset to 0 and Logic Path rewards will be replaced by all-new S31 rewards. This season's Special Block Rewards include [Portrait] Cowboy - Twilight Voyager, [Portrait Frame] Cowboy - Twilight Voyager, [B-rarity Accessory] Cowboy - The Gondolier's Fare, and [A-rarity Costume] Cowboy - Twilight Voyager. Players who reach the 600th square on Logic Path will be able to purchase this season's A-rarity Logic Path costumes within one month after the season ends. (The price of each costume will be 1,388 Echoes.)

- [Rank Treasure]: In Season 31, completing three Ranked Matches daily will reward players with Rank Treasures at 00:00 AM on the following day. There is a chance to obtain [S-rarity Accessory] Mind's Eye - "Radiance," [A-rarity Accessory] Forward - Flash, and [A-rarity Accessory] Guard 26 - Frozen Gear. Rank Treasures will be rewarded according to the player's current highest Tier (Survivor or Hunter).

- Tier Inheritance: In Season 31, Ranked Match tiers will be carried over according to the player's tier in the previous season based on the Ranked Match - Season Rules. Players will also receive rewards based on their highest tier in the previous season. Detailed Tier Inheritance rules can be found in Ranked Match - Season Rules.

- [Blackjack Points]: A certain ratio of Blackjack Points will be carried over to the new season.

- [Character Knowledge Inheritance]: In Season 31, Character Knowledge Points will be carried over in a set proportion according to the previous season's Character Knowledge Points.

- [4-sided Dice]: In Season 31, the maximum capacity of 4-sided Dice will be 100. Players will not be able to retain any Dice that exceed this limit in Season 31, so please use them before they expire.

- Memory Sphere - Previous Seasons: Items of A and B rarity obtainable from the S30 Essences, as well as the S-rarity items obtainable from the S30 Rank Treasures, will be obtainable from Memory Spheres, which can be obtained in exchange for Clues.

- [EXP]: New EXP level rewards will be available and the EXP level limit has been raised to 310.

- [Guild Activity Rankings Rewards]: Personal Activity Points and Guild Activity Points will be reset. Guild members will receive Season Guild Rewards based on their Guild Activity Points. Meanwhile, the Chairman and each guild member will receive rewards based on their position and the guild's final ranking.

- Manor Career data will be updated to March 21, 2024, 00:00:00.
 
[New Hunter]

Name: "Ivy"

Identity: The Shadow

Character Background: Once the friend left, that bizarre journal provided the perfect explanation for Ivy's symptoms, and the "gifts" of the Yithian brought her to a distant place.
 
External Traits:

- Ancient Visage

When Survivors see "Ivy's" visage from within 15 meters, Corruption increases by 4 every second.

Corruption

Once Corruption reaches 100, Survivors will move involuntarily for 2.5 seconds. If Survivors are within "Ivy's" Terror Radius during this period, they will move slowly toward "Ivy" for 2.5 seconds. Once Survivors escape "Ivy's" Terror Radius for 3 seconds, Corruption decreases by 10 every second. Within a 24-meter range of the Rocket Chair where the Survivor is seated, the rate of Corruption growth is 0.7 times the normal rate.

- Phantasm

The Yithian occupies the body known as "Ivy" and can merge and separate from it at will. All Survivors suffer from an obscure vision within "Ivy" or Yithian's Terror Radius.
Yithian

The Yithian can separate from "Ivy's" body and be controlled independently. Survivors cannot see the Yithian before it emerges from "Ivy." Yithian's Terror Radius is 50% of "Ivy's" Terror Radius and does not trigger Heartbeat. The Yithian can move quickly and fly through pallets and windows but cannot perform normal attacks or interactions.
 
Tier 0 Ability:

- Mind Transference

The Yithian separates from "Ivy" and becomes the new playable character. When the Yithian is separated from "Ivy," you may switch between the Yithian and "Ivy" at will. When controlling "Ivy," using an ability will make the Yithian return and merge with "Ivy."

- Revelation (Cooldown: 15 seconds)

When controlling "Ivy" or the Yithian that hasn't infected a Survivor, using an ability reveals the "Ancient Visage" briefly. When controlling the Yithian that has infected a Survivor, hold the ability button to select a location and reveal the "Ancient Visage" to Survivors for a brief period. If Survivors see the "Ancient Visage" from within 15 meters, they will be interrupted and gain 40 Corruption.

- Psychic Intrusion

The Yithian can infect Survivors. Each Survivor has a cooldown of 40 seconds between each infection. Upon infecting a Survivor, the Yithian will attach to the Survivor, stealing all available information and quick messages from the Survivor and generating a mark below the Survivor. The mark will display the Survivor's camera direction. After a successful infection, the infected Survivor generates a Corrupted Ostracon. The Corrupted Ostracon cannot be destroyed within 30 seconds of its creation.

Corrupted Ostracon

Survivors within 10 meters of the Corrupted Ostracon are affected by it and gain 9 Corruption every second. There can be up to 5 Corrupted Ostracons at a time. When the limit is exceeded, the Corrupted Ostracons will be destroyed in the order they were generated. Corrupted Ostracons can exist for up to 150 seconds.

- Interdimensional Travel

"Ivy" can teleport to undamaged Corrupted Ostracons. Each Corrupted Ostracon has a teleportation cooldown of 45 seconds.
 
Tier 1 Ability:

- Parasitic Desire

Survivor infection cooldown is reduced to 30 seconds.
 
Tier 2 Ability:

- Corruption Transference (Cooldown: 30 seconds)

"Ivy" releases the "Ancient Visage's" effects in an area around the Corrupted Ostracon after teleporting, increasing the Corruption of nearby Survivors by 40.

- Season 30 Rank Accessories will be permanently available in the Shop once Season 31 begins, and you'll be able to take advantage of a 20% first-purchase Echo discount when purchasing Rank Accessories during the first two weeks of sale! - [A-rarity Accessories] Novelist - Crime Scene Simulation and Cheerleader - Cheer, are now permanently available for purchase in the Shop for 788 Echoes or 2,988 Fragments, and are currently available at a limited-time discount price for 628 Echoes.

- [B-rarity Accessories] Cowboy - Spur, Night Watch - Weather Forecast, Lawyer - Name Card Holder, Dream Witch - Transmutation, are now permanently available for purchase in the Shop for 258 Echoes or 968 Fragments, and are currently available at a limited-time discount price for 198 Echoes.

- [A-rarity Costume] "Herald" - Dogaressa is now available in the Shop for a limited time. Players who reach the 600th square on Season 30's Logic Path may purchase it with 1,388 Echoes.

[Past Badges]

- "Past Badges" feature is now available, allowing players to view the number of character badges obtained on your personal page (data recorded since March 21, 2024).
- A "Past Badges" label is added to the character profile, where players can select to display one past badge.

- The character badges obtained in the first week of each season will not be included in Past Badges.

- When obtaining a character badge, if the current Survivor/Hunter tier is lower than Tier V, the corresponding faction's character badge will not be counted towards the past badges.

- A new character's badge earned in their first season will not be included in Past Badges.
 
[Battle]

- Removed the Promotion Match in Rank Matches. Players will enter the next Tier directly with enough Rank Points.

- When a mobile player enables Cross-Platform Matchmaking in Rank Matches and matches with PC players, the label for the bonus Rank Points is changed from "Tough Opponent" to "Cross-Platform."

- When a Hunter is matched in Rank Matches with a Survivor whose team has a higher average Rank than the Hunter's, the Hunter will earn an additional Rank Point labeled "Against All Odds." When the difference is even greater, the Hunter will earn 2 Rank Points labeled "Against the Impossible."

- Added "Decode the Cipher Machine" command in Single and Duo Training modes, automatically activating the nearest cipher machine when tapped.

- Removed "Extreme Decoding" command in Single Training Mode.

- Optimized the display rules for the Seer's External Traits "Prophesy" and "Great Eye" regarding the display of the Hunter's position information. The information will now be displayed even when the Hunter is closer to the Seer.

- Optimized the collision in the basement of Arms Factory, Red Church, and Eversleeping Town maps.

- Adjusted the algorithm for Character Knowledge Points.
 
[Experience Improvements]

- Added a new option in the Image Quality settings to switch between different field of view ranges. This option is only available on devices with an aspect ratio less than 16:9. Players can choose between wide or classic field of view ranges.

- Added custom sorting option for Character Notebook. Players can freely adjust the character order according to their needs.

- Added a feature to display recommended opening lines when chatting with newly added friends.

- Optimized the message interface for the furniture rewards in the Character Day Event of the fifth year, and added a button to restore the original texts
 
[Bug Fixes]

- Fixed the issue where the Forward's ability effects would be displayed at an abnormal distance after carrying an accessory Turning the Tide.

- Fixed the issue where multiple Toy Merchants would encounter anomalies when picking up items at the same time.

- Fixed the issue where spectating Survivors may experience abnormal behavior when they ride the Merry-go-round in Moon River Park.

- Fixed the issue where anomalies could occur when watching Photographer's match replays.

- Fixed the issue where the Novelist could swap positions with a removed Follower.

- Fixed the issue in Blackjack mode where the Explorer's ability icon would remain when transformed into the Night Watch.

- Fixed the issue where Survivors could use Emotes while being hit.

- Fixed the issue where the Lasso effect would not work correctly if the Cowboy used the lasso while the Mercenary was about to fall down and in the process of opening a locker.

- Fixed the issue where the Photographer's Time Jump would return to an abnormal area after using Warp.

- Fixed the issue where the Hunter couldn't pass through certain areas when the Warp Device was generated.

- Fixed the issue where the Painter could still remember the Hunter's appearance when Stunned.

- Fixed the issue where the direction of the "Fool's Gold" could be abnormal when throwing the pickaxe during spectating.

- Fixed the issue where the Wildling partner's actions could be abnormal while in the riding state.

- Fixed the issue where the Wildling's riding cooldown would be abnormal after being affected by the Gamekeeper's trap while crossing terrain in the riding state.

- Fixed the issue in Training Mode where the Journalist's camera count could be abnormal after using Replenish Items.

- Fixed the issue with the Entomologist where the butterfly effect on the character would not be hidden after using the Decoy or Poseidon Watch.

- Fixed the issue where the skirt could overlap when the Mind's Eye was running with the initial costume.

- Fixed the abnormal behavior when a Hunter carries the Talent - Insolence and the Presence reaches 2,500 during ability activation.

- Fixed the issue where the "Little Girl" couldn't move when opening lockers where other Survivors were hiding.
 
[Next Week's Preview]

- Added Manor Log-in Reward for 2,000 days.

- [Pre-departure Preparation] Event Starts: A new mission leads the Detective's attention to a shipwreck accident 25 years ago. In order to investigate the truth of that year, the Detective decides to participate in a special sailing event. But before the departure day, there are still many preparations to be done. Participate in the event and complete daily check-ins to help Mr. Inference with the preparations and receive event rewards such as portraits, clues, fragments, etc.

Penalties for Violations

It has recently come to our attention that a small number of players have violated our code of conduct through delaying tactics, intentionally losing, idling, malicious group battle (for delays), playing negatively, using cheats, cheating in Blackjack mode, and hindering matchmaking for top-ranked matches, all of which significantly affect the experience of other players. We have started punishing these violations in order to provide a healthy gaming environment for everyone. We also encourage you to use the in-game reporting system when encountering the behaviors above. Let us work together to maintain order and integrity in the Manor.
