To ensure smooth operation, Identity V will issue a hotfix on Wednesday at 08:00 (UTC+8).
This week's maintenance will be replaced by a hotfix. The hotfix will begin on December 31, 2026, at 08:00 (UTC+8), during which most of the game modes will remain available, including Quick Match, Custom Mode, Events, and Logic Path. (Note: The entrance to Ranked Match will be closed during the hotfix. However, Ranked Matches already in progress will not be affected.)
After 10:30 (UTC+8), players will have to exit the game to receive the latest patch. All game modes will be back online once the latest patch is installed (may be postponed should there be any issues).
After 11:00 (UTC+8), players who haven't installed the latest patch will be forced out of the server, and they will be able to play again after restarting the game client (may be postponed should there be any issues).
Call of the Abyss IX
Welcome, visitors, to Call of the Abyss IX [Sacred Sanctum], [Divine Procession], [Radiant Altar], and [Final Question].
[Sacred Sanctum] serves as the warm-up phase and will run from December 31, 2025 (after maintenance) to January 8, 2026 (before maintenance).
Players can register to participate in Call of the Abyss IX during this period, which lasts from December 31, 2025 (after maintenance) to January 15, 2026, at 09:00. Teams that have registered will be eligible to compete once the [Divine Procession] phase begins.
[Divine Procession] is the preliminary phase, taking place from January 8, 2026 (after maintenance) to January 22, 2026 (before maintenance).
Teams can compete in [Divine Procession] matches to earn points. The top 100 teams (top 50 in select regions) will advance to [Radiant Altar]. Complete matches during Call of the Abyss IX to earn exclusive rewards until the Grand Finals in May.

[Radiant Altar] is the promotion phase, running from January 22, 2026 (after maintenance) to January 29, 2026 (after maintenance). NA-EU server rankings will be finalized on the evening of January 29, 2026 (Server Time).
Only the top 100 teams (top 50 in select regions) from the [Divine Procession] phase can compete in [Radiant Altar] matches to earn points. The top 8 teams (top 6 for Japan) will qualify for the Call of the Abyss IX Qualifiers. If a qualifying team has already secured a place in the Call of the Abyss IX Qualifiers or Grand Finals, the next team in rank will be invited.
[Final Question] marks the ranking announcement phase, beginning on January 29, 2026 (after maintenance).
The top 8 teams in each division's [Radiant Altar] rankings (top 6 for Japan) will be invited to the Call of the Abyss IX Qualifiers. Regional qualifiers start in February 2026, leading to the Grand Finals in April.

Fixed an issue in Enchanted Forest where the jump trajectory might behave abnormally at its highest point.
Fixed an issue in the Darkwoods map where Hunters might get stuck in objects after passing through the Priestess's Straight Passage at specific locations.
Fixed an issue where the Priestess's Straight Passage would not be destroyed if a Survivor entered it while a Hunter attacked it simultaneously.
Fixed an issue in the Kreiburg Racecourse map where Survivors could not exit while under the Circling Swarm effect.
Fixed an issue in Hide and Seek Mode where the duration of the Ripper's actions while using the Patroller with the "Masterpiece" series Costumes was incorrect.
Fixed an issue where the Cowgirl's Lasso, when set to hit only scene components, could still hit the Dream Witch's Followers.
